LITTLE ELM, TX (Jan. 10, 2019) At approximately 10: 45 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10, Little Elm Police officers were made aware of a traffic situation at US 1385 and FM 380 when they observed delays during their regular patrol of the area.
Upon investigation, the officers found that state contractors were changing out the control panel of the signal box at the traffic light at this intersection. Further research found that the contractors did not notify the Town of Little Elm of impending work.
Additionally, at approximately 11:50 a.m., the Town was made aware of changes in traffic signaling at US 380 and FM 720 when a resident reported it. State contractors working on this intersection also failed to notify the Town of the project.
