Little Elm Police Department Respond to Barricaded Person in Frisco Hills

LITTLE ELM, TX (Nov. 3, 2018) The Little Elm Police Department responded to a call of an armed, suicidal subject at a home in the 13000 block of Signal Hill Drive at 1:37 PM. Officers made contact with the individual, who then began to barricade them self inside the property. In response, LEPD SWAT officers prepared to make entry into the home, and as part of their response operation, activated a distraction device, in order to safely take the subject into custody, which resulted in a loud noise.

The subject was taken into custody without further incident at 2:57 PM, and was immediately evaluated by EMS personnel of the Little Elm Fire Department. The subject was transported to a local hospital for further treatment. The identity of the subject is not being released at this time.
