Police Officers Ride for Kids Benefits Scottish Rite Hospital

For the third year in a row, the Little Elm Police Department is hosting its annual Police Officers Ride for Kids (P.O.R.K), which benefits Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

Scottish Rite Hospital is a world-renowned leader in the treatment of pediatric orthopedic conditions, sports injuries and fractures, as well as certain related arthritic and neurological disorders and learning disorders, such as dyslexia.

The event begins and ends at American Eagle Harley-Davidson, located at 5920 S. Interstate 35 E., Corinth, Texas 76210.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and fees are $25 per bike and/or a new, unwrapped toy. The escorted ride starts at 10:30 a.m., and after the ride, you are invited to stay for the after-party! After-party features include live music by The Shaun Outen Band, a 50/50 raffle, and vendor booths.

Sponsors for this year's P.O.R.K. ride include Lex's Plumbing, Joe's Pizza Little Elm, Starbucks, Kona Ice, Retractable Technologies, and Dickey's Barbecue Pit.
