Aquatic Center Design Presentation. Parks, Recreation and Library Director Chad Hyde presented a preliminary design of the Aquatic Center and highlighted potential features, answered questions, and took design feedback from council members.
Some of the possible features mentioned by Hyde include:
• Indoor and outdoor slides
• A large play structure
• A lazy river
• Lap lanes
• Climbing walls
• Jumping rocks
• A sports area
• Party rooms and cabana
• Surf area
The town estimates that construction of the 38,000 square foot facility will begin in the spring of 2019.
