Little Elm Fire Department
The Little Elm Fire Department (LEFD) is a professional emergency response agency comprised of 80 plus dedicated full-time firefighters operating from three strategically located firehouses. LEFD was founded in 1960 and maintains a 24/7 operational schedule, which is necessary to ensure a rapid and reliable response to fires, medical emergencies, and various other types of incidents and events.
LEFD is proud to serve the residents of the Town of Little Elm, along with the following nearby communities:
- Town of Lakewood Village
- Town of Cross Roads
- Frisco West WCIDDC (i.e. Frisco Ranch and Frisco Hills subdivisions)
- Unincorporated Denton County (Hilltown and Rocky Point)

Pre-Hospital Care:
