The Little Elm Department currently consists of more than 80 full-time police officers. Qualifications

  • Must have valid Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) Police Officer License
  • Must be a United States Citizen
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalency certificate
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • No Class B Misdemeanor convictions within the last ten years
