The Little Elm Fire Department is currently recruiting for open positions at this time. The Town of Little Elm, along with the Little Elm Fire Department, is a values-driven organization that is focused on teamwork, innovation, and servant leadership. Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Can compete in the process if currently attending and in good standing in a fire academy or EMT-Basic school
- Must be certified in one of these categories before hire date:
- TCFP Firefighter and Texas State EMT-Basic (required to take Paramedic and have 18 months to pass)
- Texas State EMT-Paramedic (required to take TCFP Firefighter and have 18 months to pass)
- TCFP Firefighter and Texas State EMT-Paramedic - Disqualifiers
Process
- Apply March 3-April 3, 2022
- Written Exam and Row Test on April 16 (wear PT clothes)
- Physical Agility on April 23 (wear PT clothes)
- Panel Interview TBA
- Background Checks TBA
- Conditional Offer and Chief's Interview TBA
- Psychological Test TBA
- Physical and Drug screening TBA
