New Year's Eve Dance

Put on your dancing shoes because this is going to be an event you will not want to miss! There will be dancing and celebrating another year enjoyed. Join your friends new and old for the celebration. Finger foods will be provided. RSVP at the front desk.

National Trivia Day
January 4
Each month we will be choosing one of the crazy National Days to celebrate. For January, we have chosen National Trivia Day. Come to the Game Show Day on January 26 at 11 a.m and play Jeopardy Trivia.

Seminar:  Balancing Your Risk For Falls
Presented by Hunter Gaulke, PT with Baylor Scott and White Rehab in Little Elm
Wednesday, January 16, 1 p.m.
Maintaining good balance is the key element to preventing falls as we age. In this seminar we will present the contributors to balance, how to access your balance, improve your balance and make sure your environment is free from potential hazards.  Includes both presentations and volunteer participation.  RSVP at the front desk.

Art Workshop: Different Art Mediums to Create Practical Art

This program is designed to introduce you to different art techniques and mediums. It also strives to help you express yourself and keep your creative juices flowing.

Jeopardy Trivia
We are bringing game show fever to the Senior Center. Each month we will feature one of the most popular game shows for you to participate. We kick-off the fun with Jeopardy. Everyone is a contestant and the questions will range from funny to mind bending. Bring a friend and flex your brain. RSVP at the front desk.

ChemoCare Bags

Tuesday, January 29, 1 p.m.
Lend a helping hand by helping assemble ChemoCare bags to be distributed to brighten and lighten the load being felt by those going through chemotherapy.

AARP Smart Driver Class
Friday, February 8, 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Registration begins at 12:15 p.m.
This course is one 4-hour class and is designed for individuals 50 & over.  Not for ticket dismissal.  It is not necessary to be a member of AARP to participate and there are no exams. Prices are $15 AARP members and $20 non-members, paid the day of class to the instructor. RSVP at the front desk.
