The Department consists of a total of 32 full-time sworn officers (when fully staffed), a number of Reserve Officers, and five civilian employees, broken down as follows:

Civilian Employees consist of the Chief's Administrative Assistant, the records clerk and the receptionist. The receptionist serves the dual role of receptionist for the police department and primary point of contact for the Animal Control Officers and the kennel.

Animal Control, which falls under the direction of the Police Department, also has two employees, both civilian Animal Control Officers.

There is one Administrative Assistant to the Chief. She handles the department's payroll, assists with budget, as well as serving as secretary to the Chief, setting appointments and maintaining the Chief's calendar.

The receptionist handles the answering of the phones during business hours, handles all persons who come into the police lobby needing assistance and spends a considerable amount of time on animal adoptions and dispatching the Animal Control Officers via cellular phone.
