“Expanding Knowledge and Safety Through Professional Training”   

Little Police Officers are required by the Texas Commission of Law Enforcement Officers Standards and Education (TCLEOSE) to complete 40 hours of continuing education every two years. On average, Little Elm Police Officers complete 100% of training every two years.

Training usually takes place at several different training academies located throughout Texas. Little Elm Police Department also conducts several training courses in-house throughout the two year training period.
