Tri City Competition
In recognition of National Library Card Sign up month in September, Lake Cities Library, Little Elm Public Library, and The Colony Public Library, are having a friendly tri-city competition to see who can sign up the most new library patrons. The newest twist is each of the Friends groups for those libraries are having a competition of their own to see which Friends group can sign up the most new members. If you would like to meet the Little Elm Friends in person, they are meeting Thursday, September 9th at 7pm. If you have not gotten a library card or joined a library Friends group yet, September is a great month to do it. If you only have time to join one, join Little Elm in September, then join the others as soon as you have time during the year ? But seriously, libraries and being a friend of libraries is the best investment you’ll ever make so we all look forward to seeing you.
Library Card Incentive
Another incentive to have a Little Elm library card is that if you show your card at Camelot (sells books, music, and games) in Little Elm you can receive 10% off your purchase. Camelot is located at 407 W Eldorado Pkwy in Little Elm and can be reached at (972) 987-4500. If other businesses would be interested in this or other library partnerships, contact the library at 214-975-0430 and ask for Tina.
