If you would like to improve your communication or leadership skills, Little Elm Toastmasters meets on the first and fourth Thursday nights from 7:00 p.m. - 8:15 p.m. and the first Saturday of each month from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Chess club meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The club is for ages seven to adult. All players are welcome, from beginner to advanced. Games are played on chess mats purchased by the Friends of the Library. The chess club is coordinated by volunteers.

Whether you are thinking about writing or have already been published, this group is a great way to meet with others who have the same interest...writing. Authors will speak to the group periodically. The group meets the third Thursday of each month from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Meets the fourth Saturday of each month from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to find out what businesses are available to you in the community. If you would like to promote your business, give us a call. Find out more about the business fair.

Watch an old movie during the Flashback Movie Matinee held on the first Monday of each month from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Saturday movie matinee is held every Saturday at 1:00 p.m. New release movies are shown when available.

Reading is fun all year long!

Enter the seasonal reading clubs and earn reading rewards. Age categories include 0-5, 6-12, 13-19, and adult.

Spring reading club (March 1st through April 30th)--read or listen to 6 items.

Summer reading club (June 1st through July 31st)--read or listen to 20 items.

Fall reading club (September 1st through October 31st)--read or listen to 7 items.

Winter reading club (December 1st through January 31st)--read or listen to 8 items.
